HVAC Technician
Diagnoses, repairs, and services HVAC systems — including condensate leaks and units that cause water intrusion and mold growth.
- Troubleshoot and repair air handlers, condensate lines, and split systems in apartments and commercial buildings.
- Identify HVAC-related water intrusion that leads to mold and coordinate with the remediation crew.
- Perform preventive maintenance, filter changes, and coil cleaning.
- Document findings with photos and readings for property managers.
Mold Remediation Technician
Sets containment, runs negative air and HEPA filtration, and removes mold-affected materials following industry standards.
- Build containment barriers and set up negative air machines and HEPA air scrubbers.
- Remove and bag mold-affected drywall, insulation, and porous materials.
- HEPA vacuum, clean, and apply antimicrobial treatments to remaining surfaces.
- Wear and maintain required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
- Photograph before, during, and after conditions for reporting.
Demolition / Tear-Out Technician
Safely strips away ruined drywall, flooring, insulation, and compromised structural elements.
- Perform controlled tear-out of drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and insulation.
- Identify and protect utilities, wiring, and plumbing during demolition.
- Cut back compromised framing and subfloor to sound material.
- Keep the work area contained, dust-controlled, and safe for occupants.
General Laborer
Handles site clean-up, debris loading, and material hauling.
- Load and haul debris to dumpsters and disposal sites.
- Move tools, equipment, and building materials to and from job sites.
- Sweep, HEPA vacuum, and prepare units for the next trade.
- Assist technicians with setup and breakdown of equipment.
Carpenter / Reconstruction Technician
Rebuilds framing, subfloors, and structural wood components after demo and cleanup.
- Frame walls, install subfloor, and replace damaged structural wood.
- Hang doors, install trim, baseboard, and finish carpentry.
- Build out value-add improvements such as added bedrooms and washer/dryer spaces.
- Work to code and pass inspections on unit turns and reconstruction projects.
Plumber
Fixes leaking pipes and water sources that caused the original mold issue.
- Locate and repair supply, drain, and waste leaks behind walls and under floors.
- Replace fixtures, valves, and damaged piping in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Rough-in plumbing for unit turns and washer/dryer additions.
- Verify repairs and document the corrected water source.
Electrician
Safely handles wiring adjustments in demolished or repaired wet zones.
- De-energize, protect, and re-route circuits in demo and wet areas.
- Replace damaged wiring, boxes, devices, and fixtures.
- Install GFCI protection and bring wet-zone circuits up to code.
- Coordinate with inspectors and document completed work.
Drywall Installer / Taper / Painter
Hangs, finishes, and paints new walls to restore the property's final finish.
- Hang drywall on repaired framing and ceilings.
- Tape, mud, and sand to a smooth, paint-ready finish.
- Match existing textures and finishes.
- Prime and paint walls, ceilings, and trim to a clean turnover standard.
